We Just Got Punked!!!

Well…it does not surprise me that an Obama thesis that Rush and some others on the right got a hold of was a fake!  You see the first problem is that no one will be able to get a hold of Obama ANYTHING!  All that stuff is SEALED!  We do not have access to anything about President Obama before he became a State Senator!  No transcripts…nothing at all!

You see, the President does not want us to know anything about him, that’s why he’s had everything sealed!  Talk about transparency.  Well…I’ll talk more about this later!

Rush Limbaugh and the NFL!

Okay…my first blog on our blog site and I am using it to talk about Rush Limbaugh?!  Not that I don’t like Rush because I do.  I think Limbaugh is brilliant, and absolutely the best at what he does (next to me…of course), and I don’t think that he needs to be defended but I am bothered by the irresponsibility of the mainstream media and Al Sharpton in all this.When it was first leaked that Rush Limbaugh was part of a group interested in purchasing the St. Louis Rams; I thought to myself…”Let the attacks begin” and so they did!

Now, let me tell you…I know that the conservative talker Rush Limbaugh is one of the most hated guys in America by the liberal left, right next to George W. Bush and the MSM and the White House likes to target him because of his influential power but the smear merchants totally lost it on this one!  First, the left MUST acknowledge that the White House and the Democrats in Congress are afraid of him, which is why they try and use their power to silence him but the harder they try the stronger he gets!  But the real disturbing thing about Rush’s failed bid was the fact that Rev. Al Sharpton stepped up.

So let me address the Reverend.  Your life’s work has been about “civil rights” and that’s honorable.  I am not going to mention your pass controversial incidents because that would take away from my argument but what did Rush being a limited partner in the Rams have to do with you?  The NFL Players Union have their spokesman, and you said you were merely lending support when you sent your letter to the NFL Commissioner but I thought as a civil rights activist your mission is to stand up for those whose civil rights have been violated?  The only civil rights that I feel have been violated is Rush Limbaugh’s because he was never given the opportunity to let the process runs its course!  The NFL players have their protections, it’s called the “Players Union” and for you to but-in, I think was way of course.  And besides the incidents that you referred to in your letter (the McNabb and “Blood and Crips” comments) were number one, taken out of context (and you know it) and number two, the McNabb comments were partly true.  As a black man and a HUGE NFL fan, we always want to see a black quarterback do well but the problem was and still is…Donovan McNabb is NOT it!  He has NEVER been a “Finisher” and although he did well in 2003, once again he couldn’t finish it, he fell short.  And also remember when Rush made the comment about McNabb; Michael Irving (although because of pressure, he wussed out) agreed with Rush Limbaugh (watch the video)!

All that to say this!  Reverend Sharpton, you carry the title “Reverend” and you pick you fights wisely but when was the last time you preached about the “Good News” or salvation?  Why did you decide to stand up for those who already have protections and were not set to lose anything?  Rush Limbaugh would have had absolutely NO controlling interest of the team!  Honestly, I think your problem is, Rush is a Conservative and he is a “400 Million Dollar” man…his money pisses you off!  And this…in my opinion is not very “Christian” like.  Now, I know I criticize folks for using the term but for you to hate on another person, who also claims to be a Christian is NOT “Christian” like at all and a Reverend should know that or could it be that you are USING that title as an advantage or to make your actions seem more noble?  It makes me kind of wonder.

And now after the smoke has cleared, you are talking about possibly suing for defamation in regards to comments he made about you?  Come on Al…you know as well as I know that in a defamation lawsuit, you have to had lost something or there has to be some kind of damage done to you.  I don’t think that you will be able to strong arm Rush Limbaugh.  Yes, I know he has a butt-load of money but he is NOT going to give in or give up that easily.   So, how about taking up issues that really matter…like addressing the senseless murders of school age children in Chicago.  A city where crime has gotten so bad that people are afraid to come out of their homes!  This is a civil rights issue and they are definitely in need of some “Spiritual” guidance!

And finally, by knocking Rush Limbaugh out, he did not lose anything!  No money, no credibility…nothing, so what was all the fuss about?  There are plenty of controversial figures in the media and many of them own stuff!  What makes Rush any different?
